Pumpkin lanterns 2020, a Tri-Cities Carvers project, and carved outside at the park by the Columbia River, at virus distances. Hollow it out and put an electric light under it. Made of basswood. Painted orange, with darker orange in creases, and dry-brush of yellow on top.

This is "Totem Tree", created in 2016 from Thrift Store finds, (everything from bowls to wooden spoons.) After it was displayed each piece was sold separately. Christine Casten, St. Charles, MO. CLICK to get a closer look.

Part of 60+ spoons carved by many members of Salem Capitol Carvers. Made for "The Guilde of Woodworkers" "Empty Bowl" project, and to be sold the weekend before Thanksgiving, at Salem's State Fairgrounds, with proceeds going to poor and homeless. Thanks Denis!
